Privacy policy
Duck Crossing collects as little as it needs to run the game and the leaderboard.
What stays on your device
Settings, tip progress and your chosen scenery are saved locally. Your best score, hats and character are also kept on this device.
What we receive when you post a score
- The nickname you choose for the board
- Your run result: points, lanes, ducklings and the date
- Run totals used for achievements and daily challenges, like logs ridden and road lanes crossed
- Your equipped character and hat
- A random device ID, used to keep one entry per player and check that runs are valid
Nicknames and scores are public on the leaderboard. We don't ask for your real name, email or location.
Usage stats and notifications
If Usage stats is on in settings, the game sends simple gameplay events, like a run starting or an achievement earned, with your platform and app version. No third-party analytics SDK is used. Turn it off at any time and queued events are deleted. If you allow notifications, we store a push token to send reminders, which you can turn off in your device settings.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising profiles.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device. To remove your leaderboard entries, email support@duckcrossing.app with your nickname.
Children
Duck Crossing is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
